Apple wins big Maine contract.

This is under January 3rd news.
I hadn't seen anyone mention this but the deal to sell 30,000+ iBooks to Maine (over a 4 year period with a possible two year extension) has gone through!
It looks like the junior high schools will be using nothing but Macs. There is a link to the state of Maine site detailing how extensive the contract is.
"·Â*Â*Â*Â*Â*Â*Â* Apple will establish an in-state project office and is expected to establish an Executive Briefing Center in Maine to showcase our results."
This is a big win for Apple and with all those kids using Macs their big and little siblings will need them and iPods too. Apple needs to open some stores up there although I don't know if Maine has any large cities. I think the population is about 1.2 million. That's a lot of Macs for a little (population wise) state! I bet Apple's market share for Maine will be around 10% for a while.
