Your Macworld Eve Tradition

Come on, I know some people have a little Macworld Eve Tradition, I like to read Apple Confidential before each MW. So what is yours? Do you cover you face in the blood of a PC user and pray to Steve? Or do you prefer starting a bonfire of old PCs, gathering a few mac faithful, then do a elaborate dance while chanting to the God of Macworld?

Well ?

I go to The Computer Store in my black turtleneck and jeans and laugh at the people buying computers. All the sales people give me the look of understanding. Then I go home and watch a funny movie like Dirty Work or Baseketball and go to sleep

For MWSF I usually try to convince my parents to let me stay home from school (never works). I also take one final look at the Apple Store with the old hardware.

I drink too much, then sleep through the keynote.

I have done that twice in a row (NY and SF). It was not intentional, and so far I look to be having a sober evening.

In my defense, the keynote in NY was at 6 am my time, and I don't think I would have made it, anyway. Last SF, I just called in sick that day.

The whole family gathers around the fireplace to stoke a few Yule logs. We drink eggnog and open some presents...... oh wait, that's not it. I go to sleep and hopefully don't toss and turn, or turn and toss.

I tell my wife not to bug me, then stay up til 2am (yes I m here in Tokyo then find it hard to sleep after the end (about 3.30 -4.30 by the time you check the updated apple pages).

these time zones are a bummer.

    Cheers

I go to sleep at normal time and then check the Apple store and news sites when I wake up at 1PM in the afternoon.

Yeah same as The Brain here. Why knock yourself out to watch a shitty, overloaded stream when you can sleep and get all the information immediately upon waking? Much more logical.

I always take one final look at the hardware like EAMAN does. I look at my Cube and wonder if anything will rival it tommorow.

Usually on macworld eve I just surf the web and try to get really worked up.

play Ragnarok or whatever other games I can play at night, then go to sleep, wake up at 9 to watch the keynote, then leave for school at 12 or so (oh the joys of a light course load in university).
