Just ordered 800MHz Superdrive iMac

My dad just saw it and said "that looks good, I like the flat screen, how do I buy it." My dad has never been excited about a computer before. He never burns CD's, never does any power stuff, and all he does really is check his business e-mail. But he liked the way it looked so he bought it. Oh ya, it goes in my room until the summer so in a couple of weeks I will write a review on the new iMac (someone might have to remind me though).

    Congrats! If he's anything like my mother he'll jump in with both feet once he gets comfortable. Have him burn a couple of DVDs someday and watch him get hooked.

    I got one too, but now I have to work all hours to pay for it (just kidding). I very excited about it. I just wish I knew when it was coming.

    My dad said almost exactly the same thing. He had been wanting to get a 867 so we could make DVD's, but now he is glad I made him wait. I can't wait untill we go down to the Apple store to pick one up (late jan.).
