    This guy is wrong on the point he made about Quicktime. You can convert Quicktime files into DV Stream files that are indeed readable in imovie.

    Oh..I was unaware. I haven't yet been able to dip into DV. I do agree that Apple needs to start tying these apps together where it makes sense. Interapplication communication is a the benefit that a Digital Hub(which implies connection and routing) should offer. iMovie should readily accept files from iPhoto and iTunes. It's HERE where the true innovation will exist. Integration is key. Creating a link that 3rd parties can take part in would be great as well. Look at what VST has done for the Music World!
