Since they have not issued any warnings, looks as if Apple will report a very decent Quarter, no thanks probably to the success of the iPod and iBook. It will be broadcast via Qucktime from the Apple site.

If they allow questions, there might be some clues about PowerMac updates, too.

Of course the attending analyists will ask questions, as they always do, and the response from Phil Schiller and other Apple execs. will be, "we don't discuss future products". The closest they will say, as they have in the past, "we have some interesting things in the pipeline". Sorry, they want to keep their jobs, er keep Jobs from their wrath!

Yeah they won't say anything about future products, but I would be interested to hear about early iMac sales figures. I'd also like to hear more information on the Apple stores.

not exactly. there have been cases in the past where they made exceptions to that rule

They won't say "we're coming out with a G5 in July," but they may drop certain hints that you'd never hear from them anywhere else.

You know that question will be asked - it'll just be interesting to see how they respond. It probably will be just "we don't discuss unreleased products", but you never know.
