I've said before that it makes sense for the larger iPhone to be the premium model, and perhaps it will have a few extra features that the 4.7 does not.
Maybe better camera? We know the battery will be bigger, but so will the screen, so it remains to be seen how much better battery life the 5.5 will get.
Or maybe there are no extra features, and the plus simply means that it's larger, like a plus sized woman model.

So the next revision will be iPhone 6 SE and iPhone 6 SE/30?

Not PC, but Robin Williams (RIP) in 'Good Morning, Vietnam' would have called them Large, Medium, and Caucasian!!
Not yet we don't.
The 9.7" iPad is the original, normal size.
If Apple were to release a 12.9" model, then that could maybe be called iPad +, and not iPad Pro as some rumors mention.
LoL! iPhone ZX2 perhaps?!?!
Well, that was supposed to be a reply to pmz...
Haha that cracked me up, +1..... Or wait should I say Plus 1? Or maybe translate that to Math 1.
Possibly not the best naming convention, but still light years ahead of most phone names.
Now if you don't mind its time to put on some Sir mix a lot and sing "I like big phones and I cannot lie".
What’s sarcasm about that? This is garbage.
The fact that AI doesn't seem to understand what the 5c was is kind of sad. For the last time, the 5c was not the same as the 5. Its radios worked on China Mobile, that's the carrier with 793 million subscribers. The c in iPhone 5c stands for China.
Here's a midget and a giant in a Powerbook G4 commercial, for the 12" and 17" model.
The iPhone 5.5 is going to be large, so no sense in hiding that fact. Apple should promote it as such. It's for people who want a very large phone.
4" iPhone Tall
4.7" iPhone Grande
5.5" iPhone Venti

Hell… My hope is that they release a "iPhone 5se" (or an iPhone 6 mini )
Basically an upgraded 5s model.
The all new iPhone in 3 fabulous sizes - Tall, Grande, and Venti.
In all seriousness, I'm most curious to see what they do with the 4" iPhone.
A) 4" iPhone 6?
Processor bump the current iPhone 5s?
I still have trouble seeing them completely abandoning the current form...
It would be a bit horrific if the "c" was again a repackaging, of 5s guts instead of 5 this time.
But I think, since my 4 is now 4 (years old) and I will be upgrading,
that I'd like the newest tech but in the current size, at least as an option.
I can see switching to 4.7, but 5.5 is just too big for me, for a phone...

Except we don't have iPad and iPad+. I hope if they do use this nomenclature they use the + symbol and not the word plus.
