Well, yesterday I got my iBook (and very messy room) in a few shots when I was filming for "An Afternoon in the life of MacAgent". I was bored and wanted to try out FCP3's new features and stuff.

Anyway, I have a little clip from that but it's squashed (I filmed it 16:9 and accidentally exported the movie 4:3) and I don't want to launch Classic right now, so I'll wait 'till I got to work later and do it there.

Actually, I guess I DO have a digital still camera...hmm...maybe I'll just take a photo.

I should clean my room, or at least my desk...

p.s. Speaking of An Afternoon in the Life of MacAgent, I should upload that someday...It's a bunch of shots of my computer, dog, guitar, and house. And you can, like, see my hand and stuff every once in a while.

    Here's mine...

Everything that doesn't make noise goes on the desk:

I realized, after taking this photo, except for the keyboard, you really can't tell I have a Mac. That monitor was free, by the way.

Everything else (the noisy bits) goes in the closet:

There's two hard drives in there. Both of them, I think, have bad bearings - very loud.

P.S. One of these images may have been tampered with before being uploaded. Can you guess which?

I expected that you would notice the extreme mess before the fact that I still use OS 9.

OS X doesn't recognize my USB burner. I have to go into 9 to burn CDs. Plus, I'm still more productive in 9. OS X is a little sluggish on that, um, "G5" (350 MHz).

spotbug: Nice computer. Must be snappy.

I find it hard to believe that your Que and the printer don't make noise...our 740 sounds like a ****ing car crash.

Applenut: I think I actually asked this last time you posted the picture, but did you paint the printer yourself? If you did, nice job.

I'll get my pics up soon...my G4 is a complete mess though and so is my desk. Not to mention my cable hysteria.

Yeah, I meant constant noise. My keyboard makes noise too, when I'm banging on the keys. I tried putting that in the closet, but my productivity went way down.

How is your G4 a complete mess? Did you spill something on it? Couldn't be worse than my desk. I almost can't see the Ikea faux-wood beneath the clutter anymore.

Ok, I took some new photos after cleaning (slightly) my desk.

    Click thumbnails to enlarge:

    [Removed images.]

Tall thing is an unfinished lamp that my dad made. Eventually it will have proper parts and lampshade. Next to that is my XL1 with a FireWire cable sitting beside it.

Stackable organizer things on the left of the XL1 (I need about 15 more of those things (organizers, not XL1s )).

Then, of course, my iBook with a Pro Mouse, headphones, phone cord, power cable, and digital camera USB cable plugged into it.

Final Cut Pro 3 Manuals and CDs to the left (or behind, depending on your point of view) of it and a bunch of old MacAddicts and Popular Sciences under that.

The stack of CDs is (starting from the top)

    Michael Hedges - Torched

Michael Hedges - Watching My Life Go By

    MacAddict Disc

Disc of videos my video class made four years ago

    Black & White

    Myst

    Me bootyful XL1.

[Images removed as they're out of date. New ones soon.]

How is my G4 a mess? Oh you'll see.

BTW, Applenut, trim down the pic of your Ti. It's screwing up the formatting.

nope. it's standard Epson Photo 750 printer. I believe its the only one besides the 2000P they have made in black. I believe the 750 was black because it was also a model for WebTV owners but the quality is great none the less.

I'll try to trim down the photo. I was originally trying to post thumbnails but the UBB didn't work

Well, there it is. It's a TiBook 500 w/256mgs RAM

The computer's sound is run through the stereo in the right of the picture, and the 12" subwoofer on which it sits. The lengths of speaker wire which can be seen snaking from behind the stereo run across the floor to 2 Labtec computer speakers placed directly behind me that complete my "Ghetto Surround Sound System" as it has been dubbed by my friends. It's nothing special, but it's pretty good for a dorm room

Unseen on a bookshelf to the left are my scanner and my AP base station. The black mointor on the right side of the picture belongs to my roomie's Dell

This is the URL to a bigger version of this Pic if you ant to see it, but I couldn't get the link to work

Looks good. You just need to make the picture of the TiBook smaller as its making the page 2 layout funky. Hmmmm, I thought the TiBook was your only computer.

My iBook 600/384/15 and my P166 running OBSD 3.

Another picture of the iBook and the monitor that is attached to the P166.

A closeup of the P166 (and OMFG, my cable modem!?).

But really, I spend more time in the bed with my iBook then by the desk

( If you thought about the same thing as I did when I wrote that you are a really sick person )

Edit: Btw, Im waiting for another oldschool PC, not much to take a picture of really.. It will be a FW/Router when im done
