Call me a "hater" or anti-Apple, but I am insulted at how poor this UI looks. Graphics are reminiscent of the iPhone 1, size looks like the first iPad, and the price is almost double that of the new iPhone!

It literally looks like something I would win for $0.25 from the claw machine at the arcade. I am intrigued by the Apple Watch but will not go near this thing until they make some revisions and improvements with future models.

I am guessing you were watching on an NTSC 1980's TV?

I've always learned never to buy Gen 1 Apple. You get burned unintentionally one way or another. I am likely sitting smartwatches out anyway so I don't have a horse in the race. I really like what Apple's doing with it, certainly blows Android Wear out of the water. However I am not sold on the design.

The iPhone costs twice as much off contract.

don't get the negativity, it looks great to me.

Why does that matter? I'm not off contract, so it's nearly double to me.

Yeah, yeah it is (for me and anyone else with expiring Verizon contracts).

Disappointed in the price point.  I was expecting $99-$149 so this would be a mainstream device.  Just like the mistake in over-pricing the original iPhone, IMHO.

fair enough, these are just mock ups and they give size options which is better than everyone else.  I'm interested to see if it doesn't require a data plan, others do.

Of course it looks good to you, would you ever admit anything else?

It’s for iPhone users. That’s not exactly mainstream.

You know, whenever people say “IMHO”, it’s not humble and it’s rarely an opinion.

The current iPhone costs MORE than the original iPhone. There were no mistakes made.

I bought the iPhone 5 nearly 2 years ago. When I go to buy the iPhone 6 on 9/19 I will pay $199. If I were to buy an Apple Watch next year I will pay $350.

    Math is hard.

I'll definitely be getting the Sport.

Oh, and Apple just killed Swatch.

Yeah, it sure is. Enjoy pretending your subsidized contract is the price of the product.

Did I ever say that? I said the price that I will pay!

No backtracking here - any gripes I have are going to be applicable to me and me only. Why should I care how much others have to pay?

Tell us EXACTLY where it says, or who said that it requires a data plan....
