    For some. When I spend $300-$1000 on a watch, I'm planning on wearing it for 5-10 years. You're not getting an heirloom watch for that kind of money, but it's not disposable like a Solo cup. A $350 watch is in the "durable goods" category.

     

    On the other hand, In 2020-2025, nobody will be wearing 2015 Apple Watches. A $350 smart watch is closer to a disposable item.
