PowerBook G4 400/128/10G/DVD/E/56K/FW - Refurbished $1,299.00

So let's see, an iBook with a 12.1 inch screen and a 500mhz G3 with CDRom on a 66mhz bus or a 15.2 inch screen and a 400mhz G4 with DVD on a 100mhz bus. Hmmmmm

Yeah, I know its refurbed..but who cares. That price is awesome.

The other refurbs on that page are amazing too.

Both my old iBook and my G4 come from the refurb page. It's saved me over $1k in the past 2 years, and both of them have been excellent so far. The iBook came with a dud power adapter, and i was quickly shipped a new one. A lot of the stuff on there is one heck of a deal.

If his link is broken, just go to store.apple.com and than to the lower left corner of the screen. There is a graphic that says "Special Deals" and has a red price tag on it.

LOL! If it makes you feel better, i still own a Newton 130, and won't consider another PDA until they make one that works better (currently, though, i use my iBook in a PDA-like manner).
