Digital v. Analog Displays: What's the difference?

I don't even completely understand what the difference is in getting the signal to the monitor. Could someone explain the differences between the two methods AND what sort of visual/on-screen differences there are?

I don't know about the differences, but last wek I got an analog 15" LCD and it's just as good as any digital that I've seen.

If you're talking an LCD then you should prefer a Digital LCD. The reason is that your card is digital and with a Digi LCD there is no need to do a Digital to Analog conversion(which will cause some sort of loss of quality which varies amongs manufacturers). The best way to view the differences is to open up a Graphics program and create a window with alternating white and black stripes like a Zebra. Usually the Digital LCDs look much sharper. This may not mean alot to you but I know when I purchase an LCD I want lines to be as crisp as possible.
