Hmmm read what you wrote then talk to me about stupidity. If you have an argument, you state that. Im reasonable and I change my opinion to the better opinion when there is one. When people like you are left without a case you resort to childish and immature names because youve got nothing else to offer.

I was just pointing out that it has not been a good week for Apple. Thats the facts. Is that true or false given that in three days there have been three scandals?

And yes, I realize that this test is unscientific, because the variables aren't perfectly controlled.  That becomes irrelevant due to the magnitude of the difference in the results.  The error in the variables (force applied, position of force, position of support, etc.) is not large enough from one test to the next to produce results so significantly different.

Really, the first fracking 6+ phone was pre-bent. That's way beyond unscientific and it is plain shady. That guy does it for click. That's obvious.  If he really wasn't he'd set up a hydraulic press (ideally, it should one of those used to bend sheet metal, or probably even better wood, that way the pressure can be applied in a realistic uniform way) for his "tests".

This thing proves nothing at all since he controls the pressure applied and were it is appied, he controls the phones (who knows what happened to then before the test), he controls the shooting schedule (how often did he try to bend it before that take?) and finally he controls the agenda. Who knows what is the motivation beyond money behind the "test", not science that's for sure.

If you seriously want to know the real answer, ask some reliable site like Anandtech to do a test; send it your own phone for science... BTW, I'll tell you right away, the 6+ bends easier than the 6, I don't need a test to tell me this.

Problem is the iPhone 6+ he used WAS ALREADY BENT!!!!

Everyone knows once the structural integrity is compromised (already bent) it is MUCH EASY to increase the bend.

We have NO IDEA how his phone was bent in the first place.  It is NOT a fair comparision to compare a PRE-BENT phone with a phone that is straight.
agreed but its clear the guy was lying. Why are the times wrong? It appears that he spent rougly 28 minutes bending the phone beforehand. Then as he is doing it his hands are trembling.

    Look at the share price.
Its up for the week and up 30% for the year and up 70% the last 12 months
They just sold 10,000,000 phones in one weekend and the demand is massive.

While samdungs stock is down 40% and its at its lowest piont since July 2012
The iphone is such a threat samdung was forced to bring out there Note4 early and $100 price drop

If thats a bad week i cant imagine a good week

Stop exagerrating small crap and see the big picture
i was referring to this week not last week. I dont really care about Samsungs stock price. They benefit when iPhones and Android phones are sold. I specifically brought up the fact that there were three different scandals that went viral in three days. One of which was completely avoidable.

Yup, three 'scandals'. Hey I've been riding this Apple train long enough to know that company represents a challenge to ALL their competitors to try and take them down.

This smells just like something either Samsung or Hedge Funds would do. Eventually, if we get enough dueling motives it will not work at all for the manipulators.

Ya, there was an issue with the iOS update, for those who did it wirelessly. Apple will never be perfect, but I think they are pretty darn good. And they stand behind their products.

Is there anyway I can avoid grabbing my new iPhone and bending it till it breaks?

Also, I often wonder how easy it would be to break my pinky finger if I were to bend it backwards, but I haven't gotten around to testing that question.

    This comment is pure gold.

100% useless data in this video across the board.

TVs aren't mobile devices, meant to be carried around with you in your pocket. *facepalm*

He wasn't carrying the phones around in his pocket he was trying as hard as he could to bend them until he almost gave himsel a hernia.

I certainly wouldn't base my decision to buy a phone on how it fared in a will it bend video just like I wouldn't base it on some crappy YouTube video where someone exherts an exesive amount of force to bend a phone.

I'm not saying there's not an issue I'm just saying the guy in this video isn't doing anything to prove the issue exists.

The fact that there is so much attention being payed to gimmicky videos like this rather than evidence of any real world issue (and yes I realise this all started with someone "claiming" their phone bent under normal circumstances) would lead any sane person to question the authenticity of the issue.

If there is an issue it needs to be fixed. Using this video as proof of that is total stupidity.

As you stated flat screen TV's aren't designed to be carried around in your pocket (and I never said they were?!?) just as smartphones aren't designed to have exesive force applied in order to bend them.

So I tried to bend my iPhone 6 giving it everything I've got and it has a slight curve to it now. What gives - besides my iPhone? I should be able to try and bend it with as much force as I want and it should stay super straight! After all, I paid a bunch of money for this cell phone and staying straight when I try and bend the hell out of it should be a feature. ALL of the other incredible things this work of art can do are NOTHING I tell you. I want it to stay straight when I push with my thumbs contorting my face doing everything I can to try and get it to bend.

I ordered a new iPhone 5S Space Grey 64GB!  It in the mail!  Cannot wait to get it!  It is unbendable!

    Youtube views mean nothing.

That will definitely discourage those 350,000,000 people from buying a goat.

So 2 phones out of 10,000,000 got bent.

Its simply a manufactering defect and Apple will replace the phone.  NO big deal.  If this was a real problem we would have literally TENS OF THOUSANDS of people with bent phones.

    Absolutely correct statement.

If this becomes anything like antenna-gate, Apple will post stress test videos with all of the large smart phones, just like they did demonstrating that all cell phones have reception issues depending on how you hold them. You can be sure that Apple is already bend-testing phones with a very unbiased and scientific testing method. There is no doubt in my mind that this guy was paid by Samsung. Samsung is a completely unethical and pathetic company. They should die of gonorrhea and rot in hell.

Well, the gonorrhea part was maybe a little harsh, but other than that I'm in 100% agreement with you.
