This just confirms how stupid Balmer is.

How is this for team moral ?   It's in the sewer !

Seems awfully silly, recalling how much trouble everyone went to previously, to hide monitors underneath a flush piece of glass in their newsdesks.

What happens when there are no Surfaces in three years?

Well hopefully the sports announcers can remember the tablets' name this time!

The NBA brought to you by "the ipad-like tools".

His loyalty is related, to some extent, to the fact that he still owns tens of billions of dollars worth of MSFT stock.

Don't have to imagine,  he already did the monkey dance.

This is why Ballmer has always been a failure, and will always be a failure. Instead of doing what's right for people, he sticks with whatever lines his pockets with $$.

Sweet, Microsoft will be able to report at least a 50% increase in Surface sales this quarter. Now everything makes sense.

Nah, they’ll keep the Clippers name, but every year append a new number.

Clippers 2015 Ultimate for the main team and Clippers 2015 Home Premium for the backups.

Clippers 2016 Vista? That oughtta go over big.

    Failure? Because he's weird?

I had posted elsewhere how i was glad he was out of tech and off to annoy the sports fans, and thought it hilarious! Not we had to drag tech back into it, asshole!

I guess he really believes in Microsoft.  In his mind he probably thinks the Apple's success was a fluke.
He probably still thinks the web is a passing fad, too.

That was...odd. Does the actual ad show any of them using the device, or do they just hold it while doing a completely unrelated dance routine?

What's going to happen when Microsoft announce the discontinuation of the Surface? Find another tablet that's running Windows 8 I guess?

Ballmer will do to the Clippers what he did to Microsoft.

A guy's gotta have hobbies.  He failed to convince the rest of the world, but now he has his own little fiefdom where he can force everyone to comply with his little tech beliefs.  Elon Musk goes for the stars, he installs Windows on a basketball team's computers.  Sounds about right.

It'll be fun watching the sidelines during the second half when the Surface Pros are all running on extension cords....
