Think different. New Apple ads.

I posted a topic on this quite some time ago and I couldnt find it on any of the past pages.

I proposed the question of, "Will Apple discontinue the Think different ad campaigne?"

I re-post this because <a href="http://www.appleturns.com"; target="_blank">www.appleturns.com posted a segment of their episode about this exact question.

What do you think and what could the new slogan or ads be?

"The Best PC Is The Macintosh PC."

    "Yes you can."

    Is that awful, or what?

ALTHOUGH, it works/speaks on several levels: to newbies, "yes you can get a Mac...". To consumers, "yes you can work with digital photography/video/music...". To pro users, "yes you can do whatever you can imagine...".

That kind of thing. Plus, the word "yes" is just nice.

And the whole positive, inviting vibe.

    Oh well, I've heard worse.

maybe i'm missing sarcasm or something. or maybe i'm stupid or hallucinating. but isn't that the Windows XP Slogan? Originally, of course it was supposed to be "You can fly" or soemthing like that, but they went with option 2 after 9/11.

    i think.

if i'm wrong please correct me (I'm sure someone will...)

I have no suggestions, so I'll move the previous question.

"Think different" is gone. Now I am convinced of that. It was noticably missing from "Baby Jack," the iMac introductory video at the keynote, and now the new iMac ads.

It looks like they're sticking with just the apple for now, but who knows if that's just to kill time until they find something they like better.

Why do you think "Think different." is gone though?

EDIT: CosmoNut needs a refresher on the proper use of 'there,' 'they're,' and 'their.'

They should make fun of the Dell commercials:

Kid gets a new computer, buddy's in the room. Open it up, take it out of the box.

Buddy: Dude! You got a Dell!

Kid: Dude... I got a Dell... shit.

    Or something like that.

    I like this one...

also I like "The best computers"

but I think that should be "The best of computers"

but then again I wouldn't put it past apple to use a more blunt slogo(read: 'think different')

I really think apple should push that they have the best desktops(even if its only in photoshop tests
