This is great an all, but they better put it in magazines like PCWorld etc. and NOT MacAddict, MacWorld etc. Never got why they advertise in mac magazines.
The iBook & Powerbook will need solutions pretty quickly if that ad takes the way it should:
1) Neither Powerbook nor iBook can burn DVD's using any current Jobsian means. Burning DVD's is mentioned on the first text page and takes up an entire photo page later on.
2) Powerbooks are widely known (wouldn't you agree widely?) to have bad airport range. Airport has a photo page dedicated to it, complete with the phrase "sitting under a tree in your backyard." Unless your backyard is the size of mine, you couldn't do that with a Powerbook.
If Apple's current advertising scheme is any indication of the direction it is traveling as a company, then iBooks and Powerbooks are due for updates either in peripherals (in the case of the DVD solution -- no one's saying we need a 1-inch thick slot-loading Superdrive here) or in the TiBook's case, an overhaul (or peripheral antenna) to ensure better airport range & truth in advertising.

I do agree with you. Instant Messaging on a Mac needs to advance a lot. But on the other hand ...
... who the hell needs Instant Messaging, when soon, we can use QuickTime Broadcaster to stream a live MPEG4 stream! Home video conferencing, anyone?
Apples advertising is so "subliminal and scarce" its sad...
If I was steve I would have apple ads every which way from tuesday... on every flat surface I could find...
