500MHz Dual-USB, Combo drive, Airport, 256MB of RAM, 10-gig HD, Mac OS 9, Mac OS X, and Yellow Dog Linux. Kensington Mouse-In-A-Box Optical Pro.

I loved mine until about a month after I purchased it, when it started having problems. And it continues to go downhill. (I will not get into details because you don't want to hear them )

I still like the fact that it is only an inch thick - this makes PC laptop users drool when they see mine! And the small footprint is nice too. I would never opt for a 14" iBook screen. With mine, I can have it on my desk at school and still have room for other stuff.

    iBook 600/DVD/640MB

Love it but I need more HD space for all those mp3 files I have...

Does anyone know if replacing the HD voids the warranty? I guess I could swap it back if I ever have to send it in... (not that the work involved seems fun)

I also previously had a blueberry iBook 300 rev. B but I sold it to my co-worker (who loves it!) so I could buy this new one.

    I think I forgot to mention that I also have a 2000 iBook SE (Graphite) w/DVD-ROM & 192MB of RAM, 10-gig HD.

Got a company iBook (I'm the only Mac user in the company) and it turned a lot of heads when I 1st got it.

iBook 2001 12", 640Mb RAM, 15Gb HDD, DVD, AirPort. I highly reccomend it, best thing about it is it's robustness, size and weight... thus I don't see the attraction in a 14.1" iBook, but I haven't seen one in person so I can't really comment.
