Samsung is a huge Korean conglomerate with many other LOB's. They still generates tons of cash and will be a formidable competitor, in smartphones, tablets, and PC's for years to come...
Maybe a formidable competitor in the group of OEM's, but not so much anymore to Apple.
Samsung doesn't own the OS on smartphones, tablets or PC's, and therein lies Samsung's Achilles Heel.
Haven't yet read this article, but I know I will enjoy it. Thermonuclear can only mean one man.
Let's all hope and pray that BendGate doesn't rear its ugly head in the coming months and that the Samsung serpent has been trodden on for good.
BendGate is over and done with. I have been specifically monitoring the Apple Discussion forums and user reports are few and far between. BendGate is the last ditch fantasy scenario of the iHater crowd, YouTube videos not withstanding. I don’t understand why you keep harping about it. No one else is.

All of nine of them?

It's still not Xiaomi that will kill them. It's Apple.
Only one Samsung that I know of.
Samsung is such copy cat... it's about time they fall on their face.
Unfortunately, cats tend to land on their feet...
Only one Samsung that I know of.
All nine of the bent iPhones!
and have nine lives, hopefully not all of them spent being bent in a pocket.
You're welcome.
Samsung has a 'bendgate' problem? (I must have misunderstood what you said.) I totally missed that -- would love a cite. Thanks.
Samsung doesn't make iPhones.
Not sure what you're trying to say.
Just Mobile make some nice accessories for the Mac, but they're not actually owned by Apple, so the answer to your question would be:
none.

I suppose that's possible, but it's a pretty cynical outlook.
I think it's more likely that Apple were motivated by positive reasons to build products that were so good that they wanted to use them.
Perhaps Apple can put a lien on Lee Kun-hee's house.
How much of apples operating profit was from just mobile?
I don't think Apple breaks out its mobile operating profit numbers. Many news reports put it at ~60%. However, we know that iPhones contribute to approximately 56% of Apple's revenues: http://www.statista.com/statistics/253649/iphone-revenue-as-share-of-apples-total-revenue/
