    That's worth remembering.

You're kidding, right? Tens of thousands of American expats and thousands of non-tax avoiding American based businesses pay taxes on money earned abroad. We believe we need governments to support us in doing business and in keeping us safe. Of course, there sociopaths like Mitt Romney in any shareholder group or comments thread.

No, I’m pretty sure that the Apple Stores and online sales, et. al. done outside the United States were, you know, done outside the United States.

And we’re the only country in the world to do that.

So you use logical fallacies and call that an argument while slamming a completely unrelated political argument for absolutely no reason whatsoever? Great going.

What is WRONG with this site.  Every single quarter they get the dates wrong.

Tech rumor sites don't understand financials. They don't know how to read a stock admin website nor an SEC filing.

This is why DED writes for AppleInsider instead of the Wall Street Journal.

AI only cares about rumors from blabbermouths like Munster, DigiTimes, IDC, et cetera ad nauseam. They don't care about actual journalism (which essentially died in the mid-Nineties).

    Appalling, really.

It's a bizarre idea that a business abroad should pay taxes in the USA - because of what?
Because that's the way the system works. You pay corporation tax where your corporation is incorporated.

If you want country-by-country reporting then that's all well and good, but it's a big difference from the current system, and big corporations tend to be opposed to it.
