    It should be a comedy.

No point in doing another serious movie.

Woz travels back in time to correct a bug in the Apple 1 that leads to world war 3. Young Woz should be played by Zach Galifinakis.

Ooh! Do a gritty reboot of the franchise. Old Woz goes back in time while being chased by Eric Schmidt and he has to team up with his past self and past Steve to defeat the evil pre-Google!

Schmidt: “In my time, I was a simple businessman. And then you and Jobs came along and ruined everything! Now I’ll make you feel the pain I felt. Now I will copy you! Wait, no... now YOU will copy ME! Introducing the Google I! The first truly personal computer!”

Young Woz: “But that’s just my design for the Apple I...”

Old Woz: “Yep, you’re still copying Apple.”

Schmidt: “Fools! I’m taking your original design! Now Apple will never have existed in the first place!”

Old Woz: “Steve, you want to weigh in on this?”

Young Steve: “...This is the best trip I’ve ever had, Woz.”

Liam Neeson (why get Batman/Affleck when you can get the guy who taught Batman everything he knows):

Not a lot of options really. Rogen as Woz, backup Jobs, 2016 release, script about 3 launch events, maybe they should just call it off.

Admit it! You are just picking any random person with a beard!

He really wants to be Jobs.

And here you get to the crux of the matter.

There are acres of footage of Jobs. An actor playing him has an impossible task, no matter how good he is. Jobs was an extraordinary person. If you play him, you will come up short.

    MEMO TO FILM DIRECTORS:

If you want to make a movie about Jobs or Apple, don't cast anyone as Jobs; just use existing footage. You can use actors for other people, but not Jobs.

    Serious major bummer.

Christian Bale would have been perfect. I'm guessing he just didn't want to be associated with the evil genius.

Maybe Jobs didn't want to be associated with him.

Yeah, I'm calling it. It's over. Stop the production. End this farce. Go home, people. Thread's over.

Maybe he saw what a train-wreck the rushed-to-market %u201CJobs%u201D was with Kutcher struggling to imitate the mannerisms of Jobs and a patchwork script that completely skipped the most compelling parts of his life story. It was like Act 1: long and drawn out skipping important parts such as Lisa dev and him taking over Raskin%u2019s Mac project (and their falling out) and morphing into a reboot of Lisa; Act 2:faster paced and patchy outing; Act 3: a blip leaving a bad aftertaste as credits roll.

Good one. Maybe Bradley Cooper would be a good Steve Jobs portrayal.
