Update: 5th new Apple Store revealed!!!

On Maccentral there is a link to a newspaper article that says an Apple Store will be opening in Orlando, Florida in a super upscale mall in Ocober.

The jobs page on the Apple Retail page has been updated. They are hiring for stores in Denver, Colorado, Novi, Michigan, and Edina, Minnesota. They seem to be updating the page with new stores every so often. Anyone know what big cities Edina and Novi are near?

Update: There will be a store in Garden City, New York

This is so cool. But dammit, they need to get that iMac shipping!!!!!!!!! They are advertising at the Oscars and who knows what new iThing we'll get at MWT. But without an imac to sell, they won't be getting new customers.

Update: There will be a store in Garden City, New York, too.

Thank god that they aren't opening a store ANYWHERE near Philly! What a huge mistake that would be!

    ummmm Hello Apple!

No kidding, any city that refers to a sub as a "hoagie" doesn't deserve to have an Apple Store. Don't get me started on Philly people either!

p.s. please note the sarcasm, I was born in South Philly about 3 blocks from Gino's.

maybe they haven't found suitable retail space yet.

does King of Prussia have any space available that would meet their needs?

Indianapolis is the 17th (or so) media market in the US. We'll get one for sure right after the Newton makes it triumphant return! You'll see! You'll aallll see.

It is my understanding that generally in Louisiana most people dont have all that much $ to burn compared with a lot of the rest of the country... So, I don't think Apple would go for a demographic like that... sorry man..

Edina, MN is in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area (there's already an Apple Store in the Mall of America, which is also is the metro area).

Novi, MI is near Detroit. This is Michigan's first store.

I'm sure they can find available space in the King of Prussia Mall. Its upscale, large and in a good area. Maybe they just can't find any leases in this mall. I'm sure they know about it at least. Its pretty popular in the area.

I sure hope so. I don't mind driving 2 hrs to go to Woodfield, but I'd much rather drive 2 hours to Indy (less tax and I can visit family). I'm not sure wear they'd have a store though. There really isn't a super high quality mall there (I think).

Apple's retail web site has been updated again. There will be a store in Garden City, New York. If I'm not mistaken this is part of Long Island.

No, too many rednecks. I think we should have let Texas seceed from the Union, personally. Sort of like, "ok, we're going to war with the south, but Texas, you're free to go, we don't want you in the Union!".
