ibook & sound sticks

I am itching to buy a new ibook. Does anyone have the sound sticks? How would they sound hooked up to the ibook? I am wanting something cool sounding to jam to while surfing when I get home from work!

Hmmm, thought I felt my Spidey Sense tingling...

The SoundSticks sounded great with both of the iBooks I've owned. I'd definitely recommend them.

I'll just sit back now and wait for the flood of people to rush in here and tell you how they are over-priced, etc...

I love mine, anyway. We use them in place of our home stereo system and are happy with them.

Then again, I'm a whacked out Canadian. Take my opinion with a grain of salt.

I have an ibook and I love it, but you might want to check this <a href="http://www.macmall.com/macmall/countdown/default.asp?ShowCaseID=15"; target="_blank">page</a> before you plunk down your money for one. They've got a 550g4 tibook for $1894. Sure no cdr, but it's a g4. I picked up one of their 667's this morning I'll have it tomorrow.

i don't know if your joking or not, but since you're new, never refer to a Mac as a MAC. it's rude.

Nope wasn't joking..I have never touched a "Mac" before, but became really interested with the new OS. I am an AIX admin and love unix, but not to taken with the KDE's and Gnomes out there. Really wanted to try something new. Sorry about being rude Didn't know any better.

I don't think he was being too serious - just that some of the guys here like to jump all over people for petty stuff like that...

One other suggestion - when you have an idea for some future hardware, make sure you put "CONFIRMED" in the thread title.

    Thanks.
