Apple's smaller divisions make more $ than most other companies on earth so i wouldn't get too upset.

iPhone was 69% of revenues this quarter. Highest it's ever been.

Not that they're doing anything different than anyone else, but maybe now you can pay some taxes?

They pay all taxes they are required to pay -- currently @26-28% US.

Taxes are also paid in foreign countries for earnings in those countries.

they pay every penny they are legally REQUIRED to pay.  Go whine elsewhere.

Okay...the problem is you're not looking at this properly. It's not that the iPhone is consuming a larger chunk of the same pie. The pie is also getting bigger as the iPhone gets bigger. And this was likely a bit of an outsized quarter due to pent-up iPhone demand.

I'm curious how [@]Benjamin Frost[/@] feels about these iPhone numbers despite having no new 4" on the market.

    Bloody amazing!!!! Well done Apple.

Watch the lower than expected iPad and Mac sales lower AAPL thanks to Wall Street! 'Too dependent on iPhone' ... just wait and see!

EDIT: I hope I am wrong and APPL soars of course.

Mac sales are up 14% that is pretty damn good considering what has happened to the rest of the industry which frankly is still in recovery.

I don't see Constable Odo listed.

    What ever happened to him?

    Just some perspective:

“This strong quarter caps an extraordinary year for Apple. Selling more than 39 million iPods and 5.3 million Macs while performing an incredibly complex architecture transition is something we are all very proud of,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “Looking forward, 2007 is likely to be one of the most exciting new product years in Apple’s history.”

“We are pleased to have finished the year with over $10 billion in cash and to have increased annual revenue by $11 billion in the last two years,” said Peter Oppenheimer, Apple’s CFO. “Looking ahead to the first fiscal quarter of 2007, we expect revenue of $6.0 to $6.2 billion and earnings per diluted share of $.70 to $.73.”

This was the Q4 2006 earnings report.  Apple had $19B in revenue with profit about $2.4B for the entire FISCAL YEAR.  Apple did over $18B in PROFIT in a QUARTER for Q1FY2015.  This used to be oil company revenue, but with gas prices falling, they aren't even that close anymore.

    Truly mindblowing.

On the other hand, Apple is just getting started in China, what with their new middle and upper class.

And China pretty much matched all of Europe in revenue.

Of course they do.  Did you read my post?  They aren't doing anything illegal or different thtna anyone else.

What I'm saying is maybe now they can pay their fair share, along with all the other huge 'American' companies that buy the gov't instead of actually paying.

But I guess you like your government bought and paid for instead right?
