Ad hijacked safari and opened the App Store to a specific app to buy..

This ad hijacked Safari on my iPad when I came to the Appleinsider homepage, sent me to buy a game , automatically opening the Apple App Store.

    Gah, I hate those. If you haven’t already, also e-mail the AI guys directly about this.

     

    I’m glad that NoMoreiTunes exists for OS X.

    It's one of those "black hat" tricks that unscrupulous advertisers use. Game of War uses it in their ads.
