As for her music, I don't care for most of it, but that's just an individual taste in music, and in no way makes me an expert on her character or gives me insight into her after parties. I've heard that her parties can be wild, but that might be from a younger Madonna. Then there is Jim Jefferies stand-up "Bare"(?) in which he talks about his girlfriend and mother of his kid having dated a basketball player and was hanging out with Madonna and Dennis Rodman doing drugs and having group sex. That segment of the standup starts about 1 minute in...
I think Elon Musk would make a great 007 Bond villain. Ive could be his evil henchman and Serenity Caldwell could be the hot tech nerd who hacks into Musk’s protected lair.
I noted in another post something similar. Elon knows the front end of both the S and X are a weak point in design. They've wrestled with how to keep a visual connection to what people expect a car to have - like a front grill, on a car that in fact needs no front grill. Past efforts by GM with their initial EV1, show just how bad a grill-less car can look, so Tesla tried to tack on something that would bring continuity and it didn't work visually.
Cars don't have to have a front grille to look good. See: 1986 Ford Taurus, Mercury Sable.

Despite the criticisms surrounding her success and commercialism, I find Miss Germanotta to be a committed musical artist and talent. Like many artists, she also seems a bit wacky at times.

There are many great singers in the world, but very few that write well and know how to market themselves. If people can't see past that aspect of the presentation or wish to say she's not attractive enough to listen to then it's their loss.

Was it a coincidence that a few months after the meeting between the two companies, Elon decided to give away all of Tesla's patents and IP? With that research, Apple (and anyone else) will not need to start from the beginning. They get a huge jump forward in developing their own car. Elon is more interested in pushing the EV industry forward, than he is in having the market to himself. Personally, I think he's become frustrated with the lack of development from the established players who are all still in bed with the oil companies. And I think he sees a very powerful ally in Apple, due to their size and resources. If Apple decides to enter this market, regardless of the lip service we've recently heard, every car manufacturer knows they're going to need to get off their asses.
If more manufacturers jump in, it'll be easier and much quicker to get the sales and charging station infrastructure in place.

I can't read Elons mind but the basic technology behind electric cars has been around for decades now. Motors and solid state controller have been used in industry for decades now. The goal of the controllers might be different but in the end the hardware is very similar. The problem with electric cars has never been motors or controllers. The problem has been and still is with the batteries.

Really can you please knock off this nonsense about the auto companies being in bed with the oil companies. Autos run on oil derived fuels because there isn't really a good option available. There is literally billions of dollars being spent every year on battery research and we still don't have a viable automobile battery. The costs of the batteries is another issue, if the ideal battery is developed, it needs to be cost effective. This doesn't even consider what recharging a battery will do to the electrical grid if electric cars really do take off.
In a nut shell gas fuels modern cars and will do so until a decent power solution if found for autos. Not I say power solution because it isn't a given that batteries are even the answer long term.

They are off their asses already. Hybrids are a good interim approach to solving the gasoline usage problem. The technology behind electric cars has been solved for years now except for the power source issue. When and if that gets addressed you will see mainstream cars going electric.
If more manufacturers jump in, it'll be easier and much quicker to get the sales and charging station infrastructure in place.
Actually it won't be all that easy, in many locations the power infrastructure simply wouldn't be able to handle a massive number of cars recharging all at once. Take one gas station that may have twelve pumps and replace those pumps with twelve charging stations, that becomes a massive load on the electrical infrastructure. Even charging at home, at night becomes a problem if everybody in the neighborhood does the same thing.
Now don't take anything I've said as a negative view of electric cars. I'm a guy that has at one time considered building one of my own. I just view the technology through clear glasses not the rose colored ones. Hell electric cars can be ideal for some users even now, they just aren't capable of replacing gas powered machines for the majority.

EV cars use coal also, as electricity is not carbon free. And you have to have a very expensive (for us) unit installed in your garage.
