How do you pronounce it?

When I talk to different people about Mac OS X, I think the majority of people refer to it as "X" and not "OS TEN".

So the question I pose to you all:

"Ex"

or

"Ten"

??

I refer to it as "Mack Oh Ess Ten," "Oh Ess Ten," or when slang is appropriate, just "Ecks." As in, "Yes, I use Mack Oh Ess Ten full time now... yes, it has been a big adjustment." or "Got that for Ecks? Dude, burn me a copy."

I could never figure out why people say "Jag-Wire." It just doesn't make sense. I say "Jag-waar" which is better. I'd get laughed at if I proonounced it correctly though ("Jag-u-ar"). Could someone explain why people say "Jag-wire?"

So "Jag-waar" AND "Jag-u-ar" are correct? Wow. If Steve says "Jag-wire," he's a moron and needs people that work under him to catch those sort of things.

I can't be bothered to open the stream again, but Steve Jobs seemed to use a pronunciation close to Jag-waar, but you could certainly hear a bit of the "u" accent.

no no... in the CNET stream he clearly says Jag-WIRE. From people that were there, he supposedly said it that way eachtime he mentioned the code name.
