Using an iMac 800 overseas

Okay - I'm moving from the U.S. to South Asia in August. What do I need to take to make my iMac 800 work? Here are my thoughts so far:

1. power adapter

2. UPS (for those frequent brownouts/blackouts)

3. Surge protector

Anything else? Anyone got any experience with this? Thanks.

Their telephone system is different than in the states. I'm not sure how that affects the modem in the unit if you'll be using it, but something to consider. Don't forget to get 110 - 220 converters for everything you're taking

Firt of all, welcome to South Asia. Which part, is it South East Asia? If it is, which country?

Anyway. You might want to consult first to someone who live in the country of your destination. He/she hould have the exact knowledge on how one can accomodate your iMac into your future enviroment.

    Digix,

India actually. And yes, I'll consult some PC-using friends, but I prefered to hear from the Apple crowd.

Where are you? And do you have any advice?
