Besides being wrong and not backed by proven demographics, design awards, performance reviews and audio experts, your remark is just a wee bit infantile. Try getting educated on B & O products and who is using them. Porsche, Audi, BMW, Aston Martin in the auto arena ... so I guess given the success and demographic profile for drivers of cars like those you wouldn't know too much about B & O. You sound like an angry dude who has some issues with success or your lack there of.

Not sure who this was directed at, but I'll bite: Those systems are designed by the car companies, then later get the branding from the audio company. So B&O has some input but didn't do much.
B&O is a great old name that is mostly known to the Baby Boom set who have lost most of their hair and part of their hearing....
I bet their hearing is a whole lot better than the young set, whose ears will have been blasted into submission at an early age by too many years of using earplugs and headphones, not to mention being deafened in clubs. I pity these souls when they get to middle age and already struggle to hear, just at a time when they are starting to appreciate good music.

You are utterly and completely wrong.

Digital power amps pack a punchThe promise all of these speakers is further bolstered by its amplification: the A8 features five of B&O's acclaimed ICEpower digital power amplifiers, and a further unit containing an additional nine power amps connect to a single DSP brain via fibre-optic cable.
This gives access to a proprietary B&O-based 7.1 processing mode, able to optimise sound to suit up to four different listening locations in the car.
The Apple Watch Edition is "the best" Apple Watch, according to Tim Cook. Therefore, it makes sense to cite it.
Yeah, but the $2000 B&O speakers (or any B&O speakers for that matter) aren't anywhere near the "best" speakers you can buy. They (the speakers and the watch) are similar only in that they both appeal to people that rather have style over substance.
Back in the 80's and mid 90's when I was young (with better hearing) and visiting Hi End stereo stores to audition equipment, I would often see B&O systems (usually set up outside the main showrooms). And they weren't cheap, even if they weren't really considered Hi End by most of the customers that visit these stores. I once asked a dealer if they sold a lot of these. His reply was ….. "Yes, you'll be surprise how many people are satisfy with the sound of an old 70's Pioneer receiver but wants people to see that they spent a lot of money on a stereo system."
Granted, the quality of B&O is not quite what it used to be the in1990s, the company's floundering a bit design-wise, and there are better speaker to be had for a higher price, but I've generally found that the only people complaining about B&O are those who can't afford it.
No, people who complain about B&O do so because their sound quality generally did not match their price. I could have bought B&O speakers but I preferred the sound of B&Ws.
Beats, B&O and Bose are all about style and marketing taking precedence over sound quality. B&W delivered on sound quality and went on to become the worlds largest and most successful speaker manufacturer with their products being used in numerous recording studios, something that can not be said of the other three Bs.

Just wait... Samsung to buy B&O. LOL!
No, but they've worked together in the past on a number of products:
Wait, they worked with Samsung?
I take back what I said. This is clearly a step up for the brand.
I do like that they've brought back the Hewlett-Packard branding. Even if hardly anyone remembers those two.

Not reported for being soggy.

Wish Apple bought them in bateau of Beats.
But no doubt Beats adds to Apple the diverse fan base compared to more of the same with B&O.
As for me personally, I simply have no use for Beats anything.
Ah yes; it's all about diversity these days, quality be damned.
Sorry ... what did you say?
TIME FOR BED, GRANDAD. ????
Is HP still a thing? I thought failed 1%er candidate Meg Whitman sold off their assets and cashed out years ago.
Oh wait... That's coming...
Bang and Olufson make great products.
Good move by HP.
Why do people keep bringing up the $17000 apple watch?
Well I can buy about 50 Apple Watch Sports for the price of a $17,000 Apple Watch.

No, it really doesn't. Not in a thread about an audio vendor.
