Wait. Shut the front door!

If neither straight couples or lesbians practice sodomy, then WHAT HAVE I BEEN WATCHING 8 HOURS A DAY FOR THE LAST DECADE?!?! :wow:

What I find interesting is how the Apple demographic has changed over the years. In the beginning it was slanted heavily toward the liberal mindset, We were mostly graphic artists, scientists, teachers and hippies. Now there is a new more radical conservative movement, unless all the hippies are switching sides. They say people tend to become more conservative as they age, but I don't think the radical vocal conservatives here are the old guard. This seems to be a new younger angry delegation of conservatives. Honestly, I don't understand it at all.

I think that must be some of the due diligence folks like Benjamin Frost expect bakers to do before baking a couple a wedding cake. . . "Do you plan to ever engage in oral or anal sex?" I mean, since the baker is condoning their relationship it is his/her responsibility to know!

    You don't know me.

And if you look at the original quote, he took part of it out of context and twisted it for his own purposes, as he's been doing this entire thread. Why not pay attention to what's going on before lashing out, k?

    BELL CURVE!

It's ok that you score so low on the Bell curve. It doesn't mean that you're stupid, just uneducated. You don't have to hate minorities, women, and other folks just because they are smarter than you.

Cook would tell Quakers that they need to pick up an M-16 and go and kill people, denying their historical rights around the world , their right to conscientious objection.

The idea of religion based conscientious objection has existed since the incorporation of forced military service but was not officially recognized until the twentieth century, when it was gradually recognized as a fundamental human right
as a part of the freedom of conscience.

?Sorry Tim, a lot of people love you but we don't sanction that you can every be 'married' since man on man, man on boy, men on dogs, one man and 10 women, are just something that a lot of us do not feel is normal human behavior, and as such, should not be encouraged, read your bible, and accept the wisdom therein. Tim, do you believe the idea that just because you 'love' ten people you could marry all of them?

When you are forced to do something against your beliefs you will understand. Popular opinion, and laws do not make something morally correct, just ask the Jews in Nazi Germany.

You might also ask the Jews in Nazi Germany whether it was the folks who preached inclusion and tolerance (the liberals) or the folks who preached hate and intolerance(the conservative Nazis) who caused the Holocaust. Oh, while you're at it, ask the gay Germans and black Germans as well.

Like I said, way to not acknowledge it... just like the media.

I see you used the classic defense of being/acting ignorant by confusing intelligence with education in order to lessen the BELL CURVE FACT. A dolphin has a high IQ (for an animal), but zero education. This also applies to people, both individually and as groups.

Why ask Germany when you could ask pretty much every nation they came to power in and were subsequentially expelled from throughout the millennia?

Is there something I missed in RE that says that you can't have two action figures representing the same gender stand atop a cake in close proximity to one another?

If you let a couple hundred children examine such a cake, and describe it, how many would make the connection that it condones sodomy? It's just a celebration of a union.

Very neat. I currently only need it for one ass (although this thread seems to be spawning a number of potential additions), but worth it just for that.

But think of the horrible mental images that would torture you and those poor children for the rest of your lives.

A Bell Curve is a mathematical curve used for grading and other functions, it has nothing to do with race at all.

You must be referring to a book entitled The Bell Curve: Intelligence and Class Structure in American Life by Herrnstein and Murray. In this controversial book, the authors allege that IQ differences between races have a genetic component. They are not the first to allege this "fact" (as you call it)- Hitler made a similar argument in his books for the genetic superiority of the Aryan race. Obviously, however, these sorts of arguments are deeply flawed and usually are used as some quasi-scientific cover to justify racism. This seems to be the reason that you gravitate to this book.

Here's what economist Thomas Sowell said of the parts of the book relating to race and IQ:

"When European immigrant groups in the United States scored below the national average on mental tests, they scored lowest on the abstract parts of those tests. So did white mountaineer children in the United States tested back in the early 1930s...Strangely, Herrnstein and Murray refer to "folklore" that "Jews and other immigrant groups were thought to be below average in intelligence." It was neither folklore nor anything as subjective as thoughts. It was based on hard data, as hard as any data in The Bell Curve. These groups repeatedly tested below average on the mental tests of the World War I era, both in the army and in civilian life. For Jews, it is clear that later tests showed radically different results—during an era when there was very little intermarriage to change the genetic makeup of American Jews."

Basically, if you believe that racial minorities in the US are somehow lower on the Bell Curve for IQ, you would also have to accept that German Jews had inferior intelligence to German Aryans. So, you would also enjoy Mein Kaump!

BTW, there have been numerous studies now about how the extremely wealthy don't work as hard and are much less generous than the working class. So, on your Bell Curve, the wealthy would rank low in terms of work ethic and generosity. Maybe this is also genetic, by your own standards?

Ok, so you're on the low end of the IQ scale AND you're uneducated.

I believe things have changed because everyone owns an Apple product. Use to be Apple had about 2-3 percent of the "PC" market and the iPod sales. Artists and students were really the only ones that owned an Apple product now that Apple is selling massive amounts of iPhones, iPads and Macs the demographic has shifted dramatically.

I also believe society changes when it comes to for a lack of a better word "morals". George Bush was able to run on bringing morals and ethics back to the country after all the Bill Clinton scandals. He won so clearly there was a change and his approach worked. Obama came in really strong but then conservatives kicked his ass in 2010 and even more so in 2014 in the midterm elections. Now everyone that I believe is going to run on the Republican ticket are really going to push illegal immigration, the war on terror and religious freedom.

In general I think conservatives are tired of everyone being offended about everything. We now have 31 Republican governors and conservative state legislatures not to mention a massive majority in the House of Representatives and a majority in the Senate. Clearly there is a conservative push or those people wouldn't be getting elected in massive numbers.

If you looks at that map it's pretty clear Tim Cook can pen an editorial until his arm falls off and these laws for now are going to stay in place. The threat for a boycott is a joke because they never ever work.

My main point in the thread yesterday before things got crazy, Tim Cook needs to be careful because at the very least 50% of the people buying Apple products are conservatives. He's going to make the news again comparing this law to the old Jim Crow laws. He's really starting to push this issue and if it starts to hit back Apple could suffer. He could also be tagged a hypocrite when he doesn't seem to have a problem with how people are treated in China.

This is a good example of bad press and it's from the freaking Huffington Post which is about as liberal as someone can get.

    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/carl-gibson/how-the-iphone_b_5800262.html

It's my opinion and only my opinion that Tim Cook either needs to run Apple and STFU or step down and run for office. Or start his own activist group.
