At its best <a href="http://www.appleturns.com/"; target="_blank">http://www.appleturns.com/</a>; was definitely the best. Kill the bunny!

Now he's got a baby and the news has slowed to a tracile.

I'd have to go with appleinsider for their timely updates

    AtAT.

I've given up on getting reliable information anywhere, but at least they make it entertaining.

As The Apple Turns, followed distantly by The Register (.co.uk).

None of them are very accurate.

    The Register: nonsense.

    MOSR: Entertaining nonsense.

ATAT: Tries to be entertaining, but not much meat.

Think Secret: Conservative rumors, sometimes they undershoot what really happens.

AI: Utter nonsense. Said the new iMac would use a G3...LOL!

I have never heard anything so awful come from you before. I know you usually try to be provocative but this is taking it too far. My knickers are in a knot now...

Tries to be entertaining? ATAT is freeking brilliant. Not much meat is right. Lots of tofu though.

ATAT is ok, but not brilliant. And they don't have much substance at all when it comes to rumors. They usually just recap news that was already reported on other sites, and when they do have a rumor, most often its a few days before the product is introduced. I would never count on ATAT for info on anything exciting, like the G5 or whatever.

Also, the site design SUCKS. It's got to be the ugliest Mac site I've ever seen...that background is awful, and it still uses an OS 8 motif. Ugly ugly ugly!

Appleturns: amusing prose, but since bubs has come along the news has slowed.

Think Secret: not bad, but the bulletin board has gone way off the boil. (wtf happened to 68K anyway?)

Powerpage: sometimes has juicy info about mobile computing devices, but is not a hot source of gossip.

AI - Future Hardware: the discussions are entertaining (and sometimes enlightening) at least!

heh, i didnt even realize it was in the wrong forum... and on a more serious note, <a href="http://www.appleturns.com"; target="_blank">AtAT</a> kicks ass... the site is classic and is the best on the web iteration of Mac OS even if it isnt aqua.. and who could do aqua justice with html anyway? you would need to use flash and that would shut out a lot of readers....

better the interface is done right with OS 9 then badly with aqua.... <img src="graemlins/oyvey.gif" border="0" alt="[No]" />

AtAT is the most entertaining and has had a good track record over the past two years or so.

I also do like ThinkSecret because it's less fantastical than The Register or MOSR, which have negative credibility in my book (i.e., when I hear them predict something, I believe it's less likely to be true than before). Thinksecret often has software rumors, or other less "sexy" rumors, which MOSR and the old AI seemed to focus on solely.

<a href="http://www.macrumors.com"; target="_blank">MacRumors</a> has rumor-relevant news items and links to rumors from other sites. Very little of its own "scoops," but also less of an ego than the others.

The old rumor sites like MOSR with new dodecaquadrahedron or crankshaft & solar-powered laptop predictions every week... well, they USED to be fun.

    I usually hit <a href="http://www.rumortracker.com/"; target="_blank">rumortracker.com</a>

It tracks 7 rumor sites with automatic scripts that update every 30 minutes. It saves me from hitting all the sites individually.

I wish they would add AtAT

Without a doubt, THINK SECRET. I've tremendously enjoyed their "Inside Jaguar" series.

You do know that you can customize the background, the site has preferences! While it is kind of ugly, it's an interesting design.
