Fun at the Apple Store (Marketing and Story)

Well, i went to the Apple store to find out what was wrong with my mouse. They told me what it was: My mouse was dead.



I dreaded having to buy a new one until he told me my warranty was still good. What I was confused about was that I got my computer in 1999, without any kind of extended warranty. He (The Genius) said "I go by what the computer says." So, i got a NEW mouse at no cost!



Then as i left the store, this guy asked me some questions for marketing. I told him, and he said thank you. AND he gave me a check for 10 DOLLARS! I know, only 10, but I just got a mouse for noTHING!



So, later, when i come back, I get that Father's Day Card thing:



So, at the apple store today, i got 10 bucks for getting a free pro mouse and a father's day card....



WHAT A GREAT STORE!

    Ah missed it...and no doubt a lot of other people missed it too. Looks like a blown opportunity for Apple to gain some more novelty traffic.

    Yeah. I know I would've went in to get a card made.
