Playing music through the watch alone

Part of the reason that I bought the watch was so I could wear wireless headphones and play my iTunes playlist through the watch without having to carry my phone. I thought Apple said this was possible? If it is, how do I do it?

    You'd need first to synchronize a playlist from your phone to your watch (from the music setting of the Apple Watch app on the iPhone)

    Then you can connect your earphones to the watch, and use the music app to play the music.

    If it is playing from the iphone you can force touch on the music app to change the source of the music.
