...the pop artist's catalog is on at least two of them -- Tidal and Google Play Music All Access, according to reports. [Updated]
The name changed sometime ago to Google Play Music. All-Access is no longer used AFAIK.

"Baby Metal" has been selling out venues across the world, really fast.   It grows on most people.  FIrst time I saw it, it was like, "yeah, whatever".  Second time was like "Holy Crap."

Only the purist metalheads don't like it.    They have fans even amongst big metal bands themselves.   And have won awards from Metal magazines.

As I said I don't listen to a lot of metal at all, and then more traditional classic forms, but I like it.  I've had to restrict my own listening to 30 minutes a day, as it becomes addictive [to me].   Like a drug...

They are not a US band so I was wondering if they had signed up for US Apple Music.

Yeah, the artist page looks like a Japanese band.

    I'll check it out. Thanks.

This won't last long. Apple Music is the future.

I'm sticking with CD's and the iTunes Music Store. It's a better future.

EDIT: And before you say "those are going to die" I point to the resurgence of vinyl.

Are the ones I would give a listen to...   There are other good ones too.

They've played the US this year 2 or 3 locations, and opened up for Lady Ga Ga last year 5 locations, and played UK, Germayny, France, and others last year and/or this year.

But surely the resurgence of Vinyl is a fashion thing. I won't argue that vinyl does not produce a warmer fuller sound because I simply don't know. I once had a teacher who swore by his vinyl. He was a real audiophile with a dedicated room in his house. The thing is - the cartridge on his record player arm alone cost £ 700.-, and that was quite some time ago. I am not sure I ever owned an entire stereo costing that much. I loved albums, don't get me wrong. I also loved cd's and even some tapes, but I would never ever go back. My car used to overflow with CD's and I am so glad I don't own any anymore.

But you listen to classical music, right? Maybe that colors your preference? All my friends who listen to classical music use CD's.

I love the artist, he's definitely earned the right to call his shots, but let's face it, he hasn't realeased anything relevant for many years, I own what I need to own from his library of work, so I'm not really disappointed.

I've been following Prince since 1983. IF I pay for a streaming service, it will be Apple Music. If Prince is not on Apple Music he is punishing me and other Apple Music subscribers.

Will it impact my opinion of Prince and therefore my likelihood to support him? Probably.

I call BS.  If you are truly a fan of his you will seek his music out. Just like the Beatles fans out there surely will...

It's really not a smart move on his part. I know a lot of Apple users who are huge prince fans that already have all his songs. I can still listen to my library streamed to me. He just won't get paid more for it.

Does he go by Prince again?
Must be. There is no "Symbol" key.

Too bad about Prince. I like his music.

I'm loving Apple Music though. I'm not really into the streaming thing but I tried Pandora and Amazon Prime Music and Spotify in early times but I really didn't like any of them.

I keep finding cool stuff on Apple Music though. Like today I tagged a song with Shazam and then I tapped on the arrow on the right side and I was able to choose Apple Music or ITunes. So I picked Apple Music and it took me there and I could play the entire album of the artist. Then I bought it. My teenage kids are loving it too. I hope it keeps getting better.

Damn! Prince is the perfect match for Apple. Look at the colour scheme! It is iOS 7 co-ordinated!!

Yeah I started doing this today after the Shazam update.  It is a great new addition to Shazam.

Incidentally the Shazam curated playlist on Apple Music is brilliant.

    Worth a look.
