I know he made it, I was sorta wondering if he could put up the 1600x1200 version though, since his site only has up to 1280x1024, or at least I thought that was the highest res he had up there.

And about Transparent Dock, I meant how did he get the the Finder and Sherlock off to the left (with that separator bar) and that time listing that I can only assume is 'uptime'. Is that transparent dock too?

The uptime thing is an app that simple updates its Dock icon with that information, probably <a href="http://www.versiontracker.com/moreinfo.fcgi?id=12988&db=mac"; target="_blank">Cypher</a>.

The divider isn't really a divider. It's a fake app whose icon looks like a divider. There are instructions somewhere around here if you look for them. It's a fairly easy job (and, IMO, does not look very good in person).

Ask the guy who owns that web site
  • Reply 111 of 1795
The uptime app is something called Vanity Dockling, check versiontracker.com..

as for the dividers, I downloaded them from someones site, and I've been searching MacNN for it, but I can't find it.. It might have gotten lost..

BTW, with a transparent dock, they look sweet, if you don't overdo it.. it opens up the dock a lot more.. heres a pic of my dock without them.. I prefer a couple of them..

    <a href="http://www3.telus.net/~agramsay/crapdock.jpg"; target="_blank"></a>

sorry about the dividers, keep looking you will come across them..

Very creative. I guess I need to get a Sawtooth, Mercury, and Son of Pismo background for my three machines.
