well first thing is first you have to scale the image so it isn't too big
then you should upload both pics to someplace that will host them (.mac works great)
then use the Image button in UBB to post the smaller image using the [IMG] tag (you have to type the URL of the image in this tag)
then use the code generated by that for the [URL] tag you want the url to link to the address of the larger image and the smaller image to be the button
reply to my post above to take a look at the code for this
the .tiff URL is for the big image and the .jpg url is for the small one
MAKE SURE you SCALE the image so the small one you post is not too wide for people on low-res monitors (rule of thumb, less then 600 pixels wide)
you can use the "scale" function in just about any image editor to keep the horizontal length a fixed number of pixels

...no. that's the Black Widow (a prototype used in competition with the YF-22 Raptor - the Raptor won). One of the prototypes can be seen at <a href="http://www.wmof.com/" target="_blank">Western Museum of Fligh (Jack Northrop Field)</a>.

It was the YF-22 Lightning III. And the first 2 crashed. . . . Then they gave it a really stupid name: "Raptor." Anyway, most people in the industry believe that the 22 won the contract due to various bureaucratic decisions. Of course, thank the 23 for all that cool stuff coming from Boeing and Northrop now.

The "Lightning" name-thing is just old and over-used - Raptor is much better. The reason Lockheed won was because of lobbying. (Interesting, Boeing tried to lobby their JSF but failed because their product was badly executed and had a lot of issues).
What new stuff from Boeing/Northrop? For Boeing, all the stuff they are caming out with were originally from McDonnal Douglas or the many other companies they have gooble-up. The last major thing from Boeing for me has been the most beautiful plane ever made - the 777. As for Northrop - that's another aero company turning into other fields (elecs, naval construction, IT, and many others). As for new stuff, Northrop is currently doing the work for the Global Hawk - one hell of a RUAV.
