Where can I get boxes?

I just sold a bunch of stuff on ebay but have nothing to ship it in. What is a good source for boxes? Also, any recommendation on how to pack a 17" monitor so it isn't damaged during shipment?

Thanks!

well, probably kind of obvious, but UPS outlets have boxes. I imagine FedEx and other competitors do too. I know the USPS has boxes too. Mail Boxes Etc, and Airborne Ex come to mind as well.

When I shipped my monitor home from college, I padded it with clothes. That doesn't seem as viable since your selling the stuff. But UPS, and similar places, also sell styrofoam peanuts sometimes, so look for those.

1 suggestion i have tho, for the boxes. Don't get the cheapest one possible. For heavy things, like a monitor, you should get the thicker (more expensive) boxes.

Try a bookstore. They usually have strong boxes, and are looking to get rid of them.

Be advised these places can charge you up the WAZOO for boxes or packing as well as UPS shipping.

Goto UPS's website and check their

<a href="http://wwwapps.ups.com/servlet/QCCServlet?iso_language=en&iso_country=US"; target="_blank">rates</a> first and you'll know before hand how much your shipping is being marked up.

A good source for Monitor boxes is sometimes smaller computer stores. Sometimes they have extra boxes. and you might even luck out getting monitor shaped styrofoam with it. Can't hurt to ask.
