Isn't it a great feeling? I know it sounds like a cult, but I do get a rush converting people because I then get to see them really use their computers for the first time and express their creative side.

I'm starting to convince my co-worker that she should get an iMac 17". She does photography and video editing (nothing high scale). It'll either be an iMac or Power Mac...I'll keep you posted.

She called out today...maybe she went to check out the Macs .

I was talking to this girl I know and she mentioned she was getting a new computer later this year. I was explaining the benefits of Mac OS (no crashes whatsoever, Macs don't get viruses etc.) and how APple makes great software. I mentioned the iMac and she said she liked them and that they were a very good deal. I said it's a great computer and she said she would only want the low end model. Also, she mentioned the iBook as a laptop that she likes. I was also explaining the different architecutres and stuff to people. I think if Apple put me in a store I'd seriously sell a lot of Macs.

I've sold 2 Apples to people at CompUSA and I didn't even work there!!!!!!!! Then they closed the store about 3 months ago. I guess they didn't like the idea.

I have had no luck in converting any PC users to Mac, it's rather difficult, primarily due to price point.

I have on the other hand converted many mac users to PC who were looking on spending $500 on a comp (so I helped them build it).

I didn't really "convert" my mom. Since it was her first computer. But she was dead set on getting a PC. Until she started playing with an iMac DV at sears. She fell in love. ( "its like a little colorful TV!!" )

we walked out of there with a Blueberry iMac DV and Printer.

But i did convert my friend. His Compaq laptop died (surprise surprise), and i casually mentioned the iBook to him. He especially liked the 5 hour battery, light weight and less than 100 viri. He is happily using his 700Mhz 12" iBook right now.

"ah! this is great!!! why did i wait so long!" says he....

"hold on i need to find the printer software CD"

"you don't need it, it's already on there.." i say

    "NO S#IT!?" sweet

I was converted by a Mac faithful a few years ago.. I was dead set on getting a Dell.. I know, I know.. But he explained the value of the Mac, so I said screw you Dell, and I bought a Powerbook G3.. I can't wait to see what a 256 ram upgrade and Jaguar will do to this puppy.. I still love it as much today as the first time I booted up.. its like being in a good marriage.. Now THATS rare..

The funny thing is my Apple advocate friend's name is Steve.."Dude, you're NOT getting a Dell!!"

Once, back in my freshman days, I converted a girl (maybe more than one) to lesbianism.

Join the club Matsu! It's kind of a depressing club, really.

Does it count if I got a Mac user to "Come out of the Closet"?!

She only just this morning admitted that she has used Macs for years. Everbody in her department are Micro$hit heads and she didn't want to be ridiculed for liking Macs.

We told Sue that if she wants to talk Mac, to just come over to our department.

A Mac user found and a new friend made.

Matsu, I'm disappointed. You're supposed to only go as far as bisexuality! Damn, another missed opportunity for a threesome.
