I downloaded and installed seamlessly! Took less than 15 minutes. I started at !:16pm and it was all over by 1:27pm!

As for the guy or gal calling people idiots, grow up. People were simply reporting what they were experiencing.

    Happy installing everyone!

Even the GM has an update available. Very happy about that. The GM was lackluster.

Hoping the new iCloud storage tiers go live soon.

Where are all the Apps with iOS 9 APIs aplenty? Looks like dismal selection so far. If last year was any indication of the new trend, developers don't seem very motivated to add all of the great features that Apple develops for no return.

    Maybe they need some encouragement.

I'm seeing this too.  I'm on Verizon and it fails consistently OTA on a 5s, but is downloading OTA on iPad Air.

My iPad is updating through iTunes. My iPhone keeps getting the fail to update message when using only the device to update procedure. As soon as my iPad finishes updating I'll switch my iPhone to iTunes to update that device. I'm located in PA.

They only were able to start testing against the GM Wednesday, and uploading Friday. There's probably a backlog of approvals waiting.

Even though my work access is many times faster than home I'm going to wait on this until the servers aren't being hammered quite so much.

Lots of stupid on stupid people this morning.

What the hell is your problem dude? Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning and you got a sharp stick lodged up your butt?<img class=" src="http://forums-files.appleinsider.com/images/smilies//lol.gif" />

Done and dusted in 39 minutes from the UK. Registering to iCloud etc is slow, but that's to be expected as Apples servers will be under quite a bit of pressure.

Downloaded on iTunes and updated my iPhone 5s. NP, went fast ... down for about 10-15 mins, then powered up with no issues. Got a lot of app updates though.

Now I have to wipe the 9.1Beta off of my iPad Air 1 before I can download the release iOS 9.

Just not a fan of OTA: I don't get repairs on my car engine while it's running so why do the same for my phone? Sort of thing...

By the way, iCloud Drive (on Mac Sys Prefs) has automatically upped my storage account from 20 to 50 GB.  Even though the bar graph still shows 20GB apparent capacity.  Click on "Manage" to see the new capacity.
