Micro iTunes Animations on iPod?

I was talking to a friend today and he said he thought it'd be cool if the iPod would play iTunes-like animations on the little LCD screen....in color.



Animations I could see.



In color?



Probably not, I think that it'd be too great of a power drain for the little bugger. Still, a pretty neat idea.

    definitely seems like too much of a drain, since the idea of a port. mp3 player isn't to sit and stare at the screen. while on a cpu, it acts as a screen saver; [or trip inducer <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" /> ]. sounds ridiculous.



    but then again. there are people who actually think they enjoy Windows. so anythings possible.

    It'd be cool... for about 2 days. After that, you'll realize how it's totally useless and totally stupid for anything other than ego-inflating. Just ask PocketPC users how often they upload movies (via glacial serial or usb) and watch them on the tiny screens. It's a cool feature; just pretty much useless when you can watch the movie on your computer in a higher res in the same time it takes to upload the thing.
