This mofo keeps on freezin and refusin to drag when I try to drag the mouse. I try on different surfaces, clean it, and I have to unplug it then plug it back in to get it to move again. Someone I'm talkin to had this problem. I'm complaining to Apple about this piece of sh*t.

Well, until the cord snapped on me, too much FPS gaming I suppose It was a great, solid mouse. No complaints here.

Every pro mouse I've used has worked wonderfully.

What surfaces have you tried it on?

In college, when my desk would become cluttered, I'd put the keyboard and mouse in my lap and the pro mouse tracked perfectly fine on the leg of my pants.

    Maybe you got a dud. <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

My Pro Mouse works like a charm.

Just f-ing great. The thing is dead. Doesn't work now. Render my G4 completely unusable. Oh, and now I'll get mac zealots telling me it's my fault. Thing works one day...now won't move at all. I'm so tired of this....

I get blamed by my parents too when Apple gives me a piece of sh*t mouse. Tired of it.

Oh, and if you consider the word "ass" profanity, then whatever. I edited it.

Sorry, the 's' on 'mouse' wasn't meant to be there. I'm just angry right now.

Easy, tonto. Just because you had a bad experience doesnt make it a bad product. For your single bad experience with it, there are thousands of people who love it.

Take it easy on the mouse bashing. Its a good product. If you dont like it, its pretty easy to walk to a local computer or office store and purchase a new one for dirt cheap.

Oh yeah, I'ms supposed to spend $3000 on a computer and then need to go buy a new mouse to have it work again. That's it. You obviously don't understand. Not to mention how much APple charges just for them. I wouldn't buy another pro mouse. Your logic is flawed.

I had a Pro Mouse that was "jumpy."

I hate to say it but I've had a couple M$ mice I've liked a lot, especially my current Trackball Explorer.

I like my MS Intellimouse Explorer optical mouse. All four buttons work and the scroll wheel is nice(MS is doing a nice job on Apple products - strange). Plus you can steal it from your employer.

I've never seen anyone have so much trouble with a system as you... what the heck are you doing with that thing?

If it's faulty, have them replace it. Whining won't solve anything. If they tell you too bad, it's your problem... then you can come back in here and cry.

It should be covered under your one year warranty. Instead of coming in here and ranting and raving, you should try calling Apple and getting it replaced. Or better yet, stop by an AASP and get it replaced there.

    Sucks your mouse broke though.

Pro mouse is the worst mouse I have ever used. It clicks too easily, has only one button which is completely unacceptable, is really quite uncomfortable, and it feels really cheap! I had my Intellimouse Explorer sitting here before my iMac even arrived back in February because I'd used a Pro mouse before and knew it sucked. Terrible mouse and I will NEVER use one again. I'd rather use a hockey puck mouse.

Ok, I am doing zero things to anything related to my computer. I'm simply using it. Please do not blame me or state " I dont know what you are doing to your computer to break it" etc, that's exactly something my a-hole parents would say.

Pretty much every computer has had things wrong with it. The G3 always froze, had other problems, and felt very slow. I'm typing this on it, and it's been working ok since I've gotten a new computer (the G4). What do I do to deserve it ? I guess that God doesn't want anything good for me. You can see it with everything....from school, computers, my girl.....like I'm not supposed to have anything good in my life. It's always taken away from me.

The keyboard broke earlier when Idid not even drink or eat anywhere NEAR the thing. Just stopped working. Keys wouldn't type, everything. I was blamed and shouted at for it. Had to go buy a new one.

Same thing with this mouse. It's been acting up and has been "jumpy" as an earlier poster described it.

I really need to get this fixed before morning somehow, or have it work, because I'm tired of going through the same motions. It will be "my fault", and I'll be cursed at etc. for this happening. Somebody please tell me how to MANUALLY TAKE IT APART. The chord doesnt seem broken....but maybe its been messed up because it twirls around. I have tried restarting the computer, replugging everything in again, to no avail. That pointer sits there at the top as I type this, not moving.

Also, I have an IRC chat client for X I d/l'ed called BitchX, so when my mom turns on the machine tomorrow morning she's going to see that and say "What is this you're putting on the computer?". If I could move the mouse I'd dump the file or hide it. But alas, can't do it can I?

I wish everything weren't doned on me, as "my fault". I'm tired of it. I not only deal with it from here, but at home as well. For once I'd like things to go right for me.

Exactly how can I have them replace it or anything? Apple's never helped us out before. Ok, yeah...I can have them replace it. Have to ship it out to them and go for months without a computer. When I buy a product, especially of Apple's quote on quote quality design and huge price markup, I don't expect to have to have it serviced as soon as I buy it. I don't buy Apple warranties with my machines, so how am I going to be helped by them? "oh, you dont have a warranty....sorry beeyatch". If I take it into a store same thing I'll have to wait ages without a computer. Then they will tell me that I have to send it to Apple or call them.

Flip your mouse over, and there should be a ring around the optical sensor. Turn this ring all the way to the right, until there is a plus sign in the small circle(look above the optical sensor.
