What I find strange is that OSX doesn't seem to recognize files from an SVCD, yet the VideoLan client (<a href="http://www.videolan.org" target="_blank">www.videolan.org</a>) has no problems loading and running SVCDs. I just wished my iBook had more horsepower, as it skips a bit on some SVCDs.
I don't think vlc is optimized for Apple hardware, as DVD playback is also underpowered.
