Has any body seen gateways latest attempt to rip off apple with there model called profile 4? They boast that its faster and runs more apps and is cheaper. It makes me laugh because it looks silly compared to the new imacs.

Actually it's a pretty good computer if you are a wintel user looking for an all in one design but why they compare it to the iMac I don't know... A Mac user will always be a mac user... no point in wasting money on why you should switch to an iMac wanna be. Most of us probably buy a Mac because it's Mac and the fact that they look good is just a little extra satisfaction. To bad you are paying extra for the looks.
The guys that did the testing for Gateway are smoking some serious crack...
And I did find it funny that the iMac just kind of sat there, rock solid, while a computer generated Profile 4 twisted its head and whatnot. They had to render the Profile 4 via computer to get it to sort of do what the iMac can do without aid...sad.
And the price descrepancies just aren't there if you get the same feature set.
Also, I might add, half of the freaking articles listed on the bottom of that TechTV page list the iMac as IMac. The hell? Idiocy...
I watched the TechTV review on TV about 2 mins ago and I guess the iMac overall is better. They say you will get your more out of your iMac and we all knew that from the beginning.
