I just fell in love with Janie Porche (Switch campaign)

... the girl who saved christmas.

She is the light at the end of the tunnel of all those drug abusing - come on, they must be - girls staring in the Switch ads.

Too sad I will never have a chance to get to know her. I would have surely turned my head for her - not her TiBook although that makes her even more sympathic.

Can anyone hook me up?

    Get in line. There were a bunch of MacNN goofballs that tracked her down and found all kinds of info about her, like that she's an avid golfer. I'd guess you'd have to battle them to get to her first.

    Try falling in love with someone a little closer to you. If you don't have luck with women closer to you, then how can you be lucky with someone completely from the outside. ( closer as in not online, or long-distance )

    That's pretty crazy, Brad! Even Scary. :eek:

    But she's a cutie.

    This falls under category of errie, rather than...uhm...love?

    maybe you should... become friends first? <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" /> <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" /> <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" />

    Jeez, 1/20 girls here is a Janie Porche clone...I guess being in an Apple commercial puts her above the rest? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

    Are you suggesting I have low standards? She just seems like a nice woman with a good sense of humor.

    No, I'm saying there's no reason for RolandG to aim for this one when there's probably somebody just like her close by and available.

    Maybe I can help you with the getting to know stuff ...

    Hmmmm, lessee, huge extravert, feelings on the surface but not driven by them, rather she judges by logic, lot's of independent eyebrow movement (IQ in top 10% easy), conceptual, clothes loose fitting and comfortable, no execessive jewellery ...

    What we've got here is what's called an "ENTP" (probably - impossible to say for sure on such a quick spot) ...

    There ain't many females like that ...

    Here's what you need to know if you're really interested:

    <a href="http://www.typelogic.com/entp.html"; target="_blank">http://www.typelogic.com/entp.html</a>;

    Or perhaps this might say it better:

    She's basically a female Steve Jobs, with an extra helping of extraversion.

    Best of luck ...

    Ciao

    I don't see what the big deal is about these people... If you guys would get out of the house and walk around the city I guarantee you will meet women even more enchanting than those on apple.com. Seriously, they're out there....

    Ok, ok, maybe "fallen in love" is the wrong expression, but you all know the feeling that when seeing someone your jaw drops to the bottom, your eyes start pulsating far out of your head, smoke starts coming out of your ears and some funny whistles start blowing in a looney-toon style, don't you. :eek: like this, sort of.

    I just think, and wanted to state, that Janie is by far the cutest, most appealing und most sympathic "real person" of the campaign yet, and that it would be nice to get to konw her personally to see if she lives up to this picture.

    By-the-way, Eugene where are you at that 5% (and that's not too much, is it) of the girls are like her? How much is tutition? Do they offer schollarships to foreign students? What are the conditions?

    I once took that "ENTP" type test, too, but can't remember what type I am. These can be very useful.

    And for all those thinking that I need to get outside and find someone nearby, I actually have a girlfriend.

    So long!

    OK, that's a new one for me. I'm a pretty smart guy, but I can't do that one-raised-eyebrow-evil-eye-thing. Does that make me dim?

    I wouldn't say no to, er, sinking one or two holes with her, but she's not worth battling over. <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" />

    Now that Hamilton Morris, he's a real cutie. :o

    Did I really just say that? :eek: <img src="graemlins/bugeye.gif" border="0" alt="[Skeptical]" />

    i agree, she is definatly the most appealing and normal out of the switch ads

    when i first saw her i'll admit did think she was pretty damn cute (cute is just as good as sexy)

    its probably tru though, she is kinda a female version of jobs...perhaps thats why everyone is so intrigued.

    i'm thinking if this ad and more like it get played, there will be a mysterious increase in sales (like the dell kid on only not stupid and annoying)

    &lt;Stupid comments that makes no sense&gt;

    "She can be my CEO anytime!"

    &lt;/Stupid comment&gt;

    ... no, but in your case it may not be necessary; unlike Ms. Porche, your name doesn't sound like a porn star's.

    True.

    Are they interested in poor intellectual mis-fits?

    Nope.

    Thus the fascination.

    Not a big deal of course, but cute is cute. I don't think anyone is seriously saying that she's one in a million or anything like that. But frankly, the chances of seeing or meeting a woman who is intelligent, extroverted (Lord knows I'm not), and apparently friendly is pretty rare in this part of NJ at least.

    Oh dear, perhaps I shouldn't have used the term "hard-core".

    ... and your name sounds like a porn star's too, though perhaps not quite the kind of porn star you where hoping for ...
