    NOTHING.. . except:

Spiel on how much power apple is bringing to the masses.

More gumph on how revolutionary OS X is

    Lots of luxos on show

Overhype about the Geforce 4 (oh joy)

Nervous glances from apple execs as they cast their eyes across the multitudes and hope that there aren't any pro users carrying rotten fruit.

A definite refusal to mention the G5 (which they don't have and even if they did they can't release becuase they know its not as fast or capable as everyone thinks it is)

Don't the Japanese typically like smaller products? How about the iWalk?

I predict lots of sushi, tempura and sukiyaki for everyone - and some Sapporo too.

With Photoshop 7 coming (announce) next week I guess it will be time for Stevie to run the Photoshop bakeoff in the show

And, I wonder what Mr. Jobs is going to do if Photoshop 7 runs slower in OS X than it does in classic (or on a pee cee).

    Huh.

Not expecting much...like most everyone else here. Lots of tap dancing, very little new stuff. I'd have to agree that the best way to track MW Tokyo is chock-full-o-saki. Sounds like such a good idea I think that I'll do that.

iSushi is on the menu gang!

Actually PS 7 (beta) is quite smooth under OS X. So I believe the final version should be even better.

Anyway. I don't believe what Stevie lies

The only thing I expect at the next macworld would be a bumped powerbook. NOT a revision, no reworking of the case. I do expect the bus to be 133 across the board and better processors. A new graphic board hopefully to match the graphic boost in the other pro model and maybe an upped screen rez. I know there is a lot of talk about how people want the rez boost here but I haven't heard the request elsewhere so I'm not sure I expect that. Although, if they do they will most certainly have to upgrade the graphics; hopefully something with some advanced rendering features instead of just a ram and bus boost this time though. Thats all from me.

PS sorry but I HIGHLY doubt there will be any screen size changes.

Oh, about those processors, I think that the Apollo should appear at possibly gigahertz speed. I know this is a tad higher than other peoples processor predictions but I think this is very likely even at speeds slightly higher than gigahertz.

Ummmm...Apollo has already appeared, and it is running at 1Ghz.

I hope they announce updates to the iApps, specifically an update to iDVD. The lack of ability to add chapters is a bit disconcerting as it seems like such an easy thing to implement.

    Oh! And I think they should renam iWalk to iThinkspyMacSucks. dot-com dot-org. <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" />

If this happens, I'll slap down the money for a midrange model faster than a horny old man at Mustang Ranch.

    Unfortunately, this seems more likely:

Oh, sure, some offer graphics cards that don't suck gigantic D!#% at 22 fps, or even an lcd that doesn't make everything look like it was designed with the ever-popular Shades Of Grey color palette, but still no Titanium!
