Is there anyway to get the 20% price discount on any apple computer without paying the 3500 developer fee? How does the student developer Hardware discounts work?

    If you pay the $99 student developer fee, assuming you're a college student and taking a developer-related course, you can get a once-per-lifetime 20% discount on a system purchase. Use it wisely.

    If you live near a Fry's, you can return the unopened InDesign 2 that you get right now with the MDD purchse for store credit after Christmas. That's $756 credit ? more than 20% off a dual 1.25 GHz. Net $2400 after BTO Combo Drive.
