Aqua for Windoze... I'm impressed
this ain't just some knock off... this looks like the Dock and other apps ported to Windoze. Amazingly well done.
The guy even did iTalk (MSN Messenger client that looks identical to iChat)
check out this other stuff (this is all on WINDOWS folks)
Aqua Mail
Instant Messenger

Anyway, it's amazing, really, the lengths some people will go to to make it look look they are running Macs.
Though, I seriously doubt that these skins and add-ons replicate the Mac OS X "feel", the way things interact with each other -- the little things like how the toolbar items slide around and poof, the system-wide antialiasing, sheets that are attached to windows, the animated ripples in the progress bars... These are the things make Mac OS X distinctively different from Windows, not just the Aqua skin.
I may have to download some of those buggers and test how well/poorly they actually work.

I want to try these out. But I could really find any info on the site about Windows requirements. Anybody know if these will work on Windows 98?
Thanks.
I'll report again later after more extensive testing.
After ten minutes of trying the fake aqua apps, I'm already WANTING the regular Windows theme. Crikey, these things are buggy and slow and ugly as hell! The aqua interface only applies to the custom apps and things like sheets work only in those apps. I was right, though, that it's basically just a half-asses "skin" that doesn't incorporate nearly ANY of the functionality of the real aqua.
We've got nothing to worry about here, guys.
On second thought, I suppose the one bad thing that could come from this would be if a prospective switcher tried it and thought it is what Aqua is *really* like -- they'd be really turned off and would probably never want to touch a Mac.
I love Aqua too (on my Mac), but the lack of options has me somewhat bored with it. At the very least let me pick another color other than Graphite. Graphite just looks like an 'inactive' Aqua window.
Needless to say, it's been uninstalled. (and of course - thanks Windows - the uninstaller couldn't remove everything by itself)
Garbage.
