Video of the G5 coming?

Posted:
in Future Apple Hardware edited January 2014
I don't know if anyone has noticed yet, but that guy who had the page up with pictures and video of that supposed quad CPU machine running OS X has updated his page. It now says:

Video of G5 chip, Apple System Profiler,

and VIDEO of new case design coming soon!

This thing will be announced in July and start

shipping in September.

The page is: <a href="http://homepage.ntlworld.com/phillip.briggs1/"; target="_blank">http://homepage.ntlworld.com/phillip.briggs1/</a>;

This might be interesting <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" />

Is it just me... or does it feel like the iWalk all over again.

Either way it will provide us with hours, if not days, of entertaining conversations.

Link takes you to page with only text.....no picture or video

No need for a video, just post a screen capture of the ASP.

    Probably bull anyhow.

Why are we talking about an utterly vapid, anonymous textual post? Certainly there must be something of greater substance to debate. Isn't there? Anyone?

If it were legit it would be pretty damn stupid to use his own name assuming it really is Phillip Briggs.

OK, so now the page says "Doh!"

Additionally, the page is being generated through MS FrontPage. Do we really think someone that uses FrontPage is going to have access to an Apple Prototype?

Whatever I type on this shitty PC somehow gets broadcast all over the internet thingy!!!

Here's something to think about till I get my hands on that G5 prototype again:

"In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."

Anyone have any belief that this is still real?

Douglas adams is great...but I prefer Tom robbins...tom robbins uses similar techniques but he is more sophesitcated I think, and he is also more...erm...mature?

they are both GREAT writers though

I hope that this is authentic...but I smell a rat.

Am I the only person who noticed that Philpot always signs his messages with a quote from Douglas Adams? Geeze... now, this doesn't necessarily speak to the truth or falsity of the videos/pictures posted on that site, but it does confirm (as the message was meant to confirm) that the site belongs to philpot.

Cool, another Robbins fan! I must agree, Robbins is more sophisticated than Adams and is really a much better writer IMHO. But whatever gets people off.

Just finished Woodpecker, that leaves Jitterbug Perfume and then I'll have read all of his books. I saw him about a year ago on a book tour, he's dead cool, very northwest. Started off the questions by saying "you'll have to speak up, 20 years of rock and roll has taken its toll on my hearing..". he he.

Heh your going in the opposite order of me....

Started with Woodpecker then did the Jitterbug....

attempted and aborted Cowgirls.... and started but didn't get far with both "Skinny Legs & All" and "Fierce Invalids Home from Hot Climates"...

would like to finish those last two though....

Tom Robbins is a smug, self-aggrandizing, ahistorical adolescent hippie twat. Just thought I'd contribute to your discussion.
