It's constantly being updated.



Anyway, this article pretty much points out how MS has deliberately made bugs and security flaws in their OS, and all sorts of other bad stuff. It's a bit too long to even come up with a good quote to represent it... I suppose you'll just have to read it for yourself.

    Yeah, for me, I thought that they were just slackers... now they seem more like malicious, evil geniuses. And they are smart - what other company is SO incredibly successful that they continue to dominate their market even though they deliberately make their product have as many problems possible? Even the Ford Motor Company can't touch MS.

    Luca, thank you big-time for posting that link: for people like us, who are computer-literate, there are so many ugly, nauseating things M$ is doing to their "customers" that can only lead to one conclusion: don't use Windows.



    Sadly, we are in a minority...

    Agreed...though he's obviously invested a lot of effort, and his links/support is excellent. The author really needs to dive back in and rebuild it from top to bottom so that it doesn't have such a wandering quality.



    I'd tell him, but...well, I'm not in an ultracritical mood. Maybe I'll go work t putting it nicely.

    I posted a link to this at Ars Battlefront, asking how PC users cope with things like this - wow. The screaming the PC people over there were doing was terrible. Imagine the reaction here if Dell released a new AIO PC with a base unit, a chrome arm, and an LCD on it, and called it the iPower or something. That's kind of what it was like there.



    According to most people there, that article is riddled with lies... I think it's probably somewhere in between - not completely truthful, but not utter horseshit either.
