The 6 series is a very old fashioned and not very attractive design. It's merely a blown-up iPhone, whereas everyone else move to oled and more compact modern designs years ago. If it wasn't for iOS, I would have bought a Note 5. im good with my 5s and SE, I'm waiting out the 6&7 and looking forward to a modern iPhone in next years model
Wasn't Kuo just saying last month "in a note to investors" that the SE was not selling well? Oops.
You think selling 18 million units into an installed base of 250+ million people who still uses at least 3-year-old 4-inch phones is "selling well"??? C'mon maaaaan....
Kuo is "noted" by whom, exactly? AI and MR keep saying that, but you never explain where this adoration supposedly comes from -- other than from yourselves, of course.
When it comes to analysts, he's by far the most accurate. That's all. Don't shoot the messenger.
He is the one having close access to the Taiwanese manufacturers for tips on the parts and production line...that's so much for his accuracy. What else makes his word more noteworthy?

You’re not selling me on the ‘not attractive’ about that. The first iPhone was great. I prefer my colors to be accurate with age. What’s not compact about the iPhone?! How could it possibly be more compact?
"How could it possibly be more compact?".......perhaps you should look at other phones out there.
Still, you can't totally blame the analysts. Apple is owned by a lot of cowardly investors who will quickly sell their stock based on unsubstantiated rumors and speculation. Those analysts don't scare me at all. Why should I trust them? Do they really think they know better than Apple management? If these analysts were so smart, they should sink all their money into the market and get rich from their prophetic skills. I believe most analysts are liars and basically trying to deceive small investors. I just don't think they could be that stupid to try to make people invest from quarter to quarter.
I know iPhone sales are cyclic and one quarter isn't going to make me change my mind about a company. I'd have to end up jumping from company to company and that's not how I invest. I think long-term. It's pretty lousy for these crooks to try to frighten investors to dump their stock based on their "analyst feelings." I want actual proof and only Apple's quarterly report is accurate enough for me to make any decisions on buying or selling. It's also crappy how these reports have beaten down Apple's share price right into earnings and beaten Apple lower than either Microsoft or Alphabet got beaten down upon actual earnings. I guess that's how it is to own Apple stock and I know Tim Cook isn't going to do anything to protect loyal shareholders. I just need to keep my faith that Apple knows what it's doing and stay the course.
I know Apple isn't going to meet Wall Street's expectations because it never does. I'll just have to take the inevitable share price losses and get increased dividends until Apple can pull something worthwhile out of the pipeline. It really hurts to see Amazon, Microsoft, Alphabet, Facebook, Tesla, etc. all outperform Apple in share price gains, but there's really nothing I can do about it.
...especially that we have peaked, due to almost all features being seen/met...
You've got to be kidding...
how about: * Being waterproof * OLED with 0-black level and no layer of backlit * decent screen to body ratio * camera that does not produce crappy blurry pictures in low light conditions: http://cdn.bgr.com/2016/02/tim-cook-blur.jpg
My only comment here is that if Apple does deliver on the rumor of the iPhone 7 having minimal cosmetic changes over the 6s, and at most significance offers only a processor and camera upgrade, then removing the 3.5mm jack is going to be detrimental to bottom line sales. If that's actually going to happen, they should save it for the "must have" redesigned iPhone 8 update.

And the home button is supposed to go where? And what are all these modern designs you speak of. Apple was doing glass backed phones before Samsung did and the unibody aluminum iPod touch came out before the HTC M7 did.
So you're basically saying there's nothing that would be exciting anymore yet Cook needs to walk on water at WWDC or Aple is doomed....ok.
I'm saying that there had better be something special lined up for WWDC if anyone expects the recent slide in sales, as well as the less than stellar performance of AAPL in the last year, to change. Good isn't good enough anymore, time to shake things up. Steve became legend doing just that, now the ball is in Tim's court. Sorry for expecting better but as a decades long Apple consumer, as well as AAPL stockholder, I've got plenty of hay in the game. And enough with the "Apple is doomed" jibe. It's tired and annoying. Get some new material Rog.
You don't need an analyst. Based on my own observations, I've been questioning what Ive and Cook have been up to recently? Rose gold products, a bland looking watch that requires an iPhone to use, Beats, the contorted non 4K Apple TV? Hell, I may cop a Skylake MBP soon, but the only thing I've seen fit to purchase from Apple lately is a .99 cent a month iCloud upgrade and one Prince song. This isn't Steve Jobs' Apple, and by any impartial measure, Cook and Jony simply aren't cutting it. They are the parties responsible for AAPL stock tanking.
...and lots (and lots) of watch band styles...
There's always a price to pay when a visionary founder's gone, at least in time - which can be a period of some years with a full pipeline, good teams and someone who can milk these resources, and Cook and co have been able to more or less do that, but each next move seems more and more in the woods IMO.
Cook's a supply chain guy with an interest in social isssues. Ives a) always needed someone with a stronger vision to keep his "preciousity" in check and b) also feels like he's maybe losing interest besides.
Not promising. I'm even moving away from all the time I've spent for many years following Apple sites.
Meanwhile, I wanted a port and you gave me a pink colored "refesh" still with only one meaning I'd still have to live with an ugly dongle sitch. Nah, not enough.
Uh, no one gives a fuck how man ports you want, and Steve Jobs certainly didn't (he was consistently attacked on the ports issue with every single product release) so stop trying to twist reality by pretending otherwise. SJ loves to simplify and pare things down to essentials, and one can easily see him green-lighting the Macbook design.
But yeah, it sucks that Apple discontinued ALL their other Macs, including the Macbook Air, and the Macbook Pro, so that you have no option but to buy the new Macbook, and be forced to "live with an ugly dongle". Oh wait, that didn't happen. The new Macbook is simply one additional option that wasn't there before, and you're obviously nothing but a troll. No one is forcing you to buy the product and use dongles. The Macbook is for people who want the portability of an iPad with the power and flexibility of OSX, and don't need to stick a million fucking things into their computer- and there's ALOT of those people. If you don't fall into that category, the rest of Apple's Mac line still exists.
As for Cook, nothing indicates he's losing any sort of interest, and you don't win any points for originality with the "Cook can't lead Apple, he only knows about supply chains and is a left wing wacko, so he should be a politician instead" meme. This "supply chain guy" has led Apple to greater heights than SJ could ever imagine, no matter what your buddy kuo predicts.

So you're saying a Note 5 is more compact than an iPhone? Weird logic.
