Anybody know of a site comparable to 2-pop, where there are good discussion forums for answering technical questions about making video and especially using DVD authoring programs such as DVD-Studio Pro?

I need some questions answered and 2-pop is down . . . probably for the weekend.

How bout a list of other good media related forums that people know about?

    Well, I don't know . . . it seems people around hereabouts are either talking about microns, and pipeline,s and 900level backside cache-fab form factors of 250-300 L3-7455 I/O-16GPULGb/sec (== 2 GB/sec) push button wing-dings, or, they're Flaming each other over wellfare reform, and warfare, and Jesus

    I've had two After-effects / DVDstudio Pro question blue folder-sinking now for almost two days . . . the same one in Software and Genius . . .

    I guess what I'm wondering is, do any of you know of a forum near as vital as 2-pop where people talk about using media software?

    Well, you've got my sympathy, but beyond that, I haven't a clue, since I'm sorta looking for the same thing. 2-pop is interesting sure, but I really don't know of any place else, cause just about anyplace else I've found wants cash memberships etc.

    I mean, check out this list, it's pretty standard, it's a jump site:

    <a href="http://www.extrabytes.com/support/links.html"; target="_blank">http://www.extrabytes.com/support/links.html</a>;

    They want memberships and they give you links to software sites that want sales, but nothing's for free.

    Not that that's always good thing, unless you'd rather pay me for your oxygen use on this planet.

    for technical information on all things optical try the

    <a href="http://osta.org"; target="_blank">Optical Storage Technology Association website</a>

    links out from their pages will take you to major FAQs on CDR/CDRW/DVDR/DVDRW and more

    if what you're looking for are particular questions on the authoring process rather than the underlying platter and its data structures then i might suggest the web versions of DV magazine or similar.

    can you be more specific about your dvd questions?
