EXCELLENT CONDITION



Since the AirPort card adds a bit to the price, I am willing to offer it at $2200 . Realistic?

    That's about $200 off the current base price + AirPort card. Do you really think customers wouldn't want to take advantage of this great deal?



    I hope to upgrade to the new base model + airport card because it offers nearly a 30% increase in performance and includes that great new Radeon 9000 graphics card.

    Since a lot of people on eBay are stupid you can try selling it for that price and see what happens.

    $2200 is way too much.



    A person could get a brand new 867Mhz w/ a 40GB HD and a Radeon 9000 for only $99 more - $2299. Plus full one year warranty.



    Or, they can pick up the old high end 800 MHZ w/40GB HD, an airport card and 512MB RAM for only $199 more - $2399. Plus full one year warranty.



    I'd be surprised if you got $1999 for it more like $1799 tops. One can pick up a brand new 667 from an Apple Store for $1799 though



    Sorry, just a realistic comparison. Try ebay though people pay foolish prices for stuff there.

    Unfortunate, but true. Try eBay - I know this one guy who uses it all the time, and he says it's great.

    No, not really. Some people may see $200 extra for the new model as a deal breaker. Nice attempt to be clever though.

    My friend Mihai sold his 400 the other day on eBay for $1671. It had Airport, 768MB RAM, 20GB HD, and a nice carrying case included, but the price was really high. It also had some mechanical defects.



    I've heard of hacker laptops fetching high prices. Mihai is the guy who wrote iconographer and made the open source marathon 2 possible, but I don't think the fame factor is quite there.



    This was right before the new models came out (he's good with this stuff). He just ordered the $3000 1Ghz, which is a net cost of 721 dollars for him after the sale of the 400 and the 20% dev discount.



    Who said mac prices were high? $721!!

    Well whatever you do, don't include both of those lines in your eBay ad.



    "This is an incredible deal! The 667 is great!"



    "I'm selling it because for only $200 more, I can get a PB with a 30% performance boost and that great new Radeon 9000 graphics card!"

    A friend of mine is getting a 4-month old 667 for $1500. The owner wants to jump on the 1 GHz SuperDrive bandwagon, apparently.
